Meet April, Director of Business Development for LeaderStat Premier

We think the best way to really get to know LeaderStat is to introduce you to our team. This week, we interviewed April Murray. In the interview below, she shares some information about her role and LeaderStat. 

1. How long have you been with LeaderStat?
3.5 years!

2. What is your position now and what are your primary responsibilities?
I am the Director of Interim C-Suite and Business Development for LeaderStat’s Premier division. I have the privilege of partnering with healthcare organizations when they are experiencing a C-level transition. Our team works to support those clients with interim leadership as well as identifying the best permanent fit. I work to identify new opportunities for our organization in addition to providing education to boards and/or public speaking engagements.

3. What does your typical day look like?
Is it cliché to say that every day is different? It truly is! Ultimately, I work very closely with healthcare clients that are working through a c-level transition. Every client’s needs are different so it is important to be flexible and accommodating to all of their unique necessities. I’m always looking to network with individuals who are interested in exploring interim engagements so that we may continue to build our bench of LeaderStat employees.

4. What do you love most about your job?
Prior to coming to LeaderStat I worked on the provider side. My role with LeaderStat allows me to still make an impact on the aging services industry which means so much to me.

5. What type of music do you listen to?
Classic Rock ALL DAY EVERYDAY!

6. What is your favorite thing to do on the weekends – pre-COVID-19 and during COVID-19?
I’m a mom of 3 and so my weekends are focused around our family. Prior to Covid (and children) I love live music and yearn for the opportunity to listen to live music! I’m also an avid birder
