- How long have you been an Interim Consultant with LeaderStat? About five years.
- What did you do before you started Interim work? I was a Director of Nursing in a nursing home. At one time, I worked in a 130-bed facility. I decided to do interim work because I wanted to continue working but didn’t want to be tied down. I tried interim work many years ago and really enjoyed it.
- What do you love about being an Interim Consultant? It’s challenging and I enjoy helping turn a building around. I also enjoy getting to meet new people and I love the residents.
- Do you have a favorite state where you love to work? I really enjoy Michigan. It’s absolutely beautiful and I enjoy exploring on the weekends with my husband.
- Is the process easy (in regards to travel arrangements, requests, etc.)? Oh yes! LeaderStat does an excellent job making sure all of the arrangements are made and one of the perks is being able to receive all of the hotel points!
- Do you have a favorite memory as an Interim Consultant? There was one resident who was hit by car. She broke both arms and legs and needed extensive rehab. We really bonded and would pray together every morning. She was well on her way to recovery when I left.
- What advice would you give to a new Interim Consultant? Be patient because you are going into a building and they need you to give them guidance but remember that you are an Interim and sometimes you have to make changes gently.
We are thankful to work with such talented and accomplished Interim Consultants each and every day. Thank you, Diane, for all you do to deliver exceptional care!
