Medication Aide Certification (MA-C) Program
The Ohio Board of Nursing approved Medication Aide Certification (MA-C) course prepares students to administer medications in nursing centers across the state of Ohio. The course includes a combination of in-classroom learning as well as on-site clinical training and is taught by a seasoned RN Clinical Instructor that brings 34 years of long-term care experience to the classroom.
In order to be eligible for the program, students must be a current STNA in good-standing in the state of Ohio or have one year of direct experience in a residential care facility.

TIME: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (for the first two weeks of classroom education)
Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (for the last week of clinical training)
LOCATION: Dover, OH or Virtual
COST: $1,200 **Cost includes a background check, but does not include the cost to apply for Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) certificate or test (approximately $160). Students will have the opportunity to purchase the class book for an additional $25.
*The registration fee must be paid IN FULL prior to the first date of class.
