MA-C Implementation Training and Toolkit

The Ohio Board of Nursing approved Medication Aide Certification (MA-C) course prepares students to administer medications in nursing centers across the state of Ohio. The course includes a combination of in-classroom learning in Powell, Ohio as well as on-site clinical training and is taught by a seasoned RN Clinical Instructor that brings 34 years of long-term care experience to the classroom.

 

In order to be eligible for the program, students must be a current STNA in good-standing in the state of Ohio or have one year of direct experience in a residential care facility.
