As a Client Relationship Manager at LeaderStat, Cassie Mauer builds relationships with Clients in need of interim healthcare leaders. Her easygoing personality and attention to detail help make her so successful in her position, plus her sense of humor has earned her the Class Clown award as voted by her co-workers! We recently interviewed Cassie for the LeaderStat blog.
- How long have you been with LeaderStat and what was your first position?
I have been with LeaderStat for a little over 3 years and was hired on the interim team as the Client Relationship Manager.
- What is your position now and what are your primary responsibilities?
I am still the Client Relationship Manager, and my primary responsibilities are to make sure anyone who comes in contact with LeaderStat for interim services is provided the very best service possible. I am the point person for clients, so I am with them from the very first phone call until the end of our consultant's assignment, and everything in-between!
- What does your typical day look like?
My typical day consists of contacting clients about feedback for consultants on their current assignment. I talk with them about the candidates we have submitted and whether or not they feel they are a good fit, I negotiate contracts, assignment extensions and adjust current assignment needs, and I address any invoicing questions they may have. Every day is so different so I never know what is going to happen!
- What do you love most about your job?
I LOVE the people I work with! Work never has a dull moment with the people who work for LeaderStat. I am super close with my teammates. Interim is a fast paced division with a lot of moving parts, so without my team members it would be impossible to keep everything together. We work so closely with the clients and consultants that when anything happens, good or bad, we are all there to make sure it’s a fantastic experience.
- What do you enjoy least?
The less enjoyable part of the job is dealing head on with some of the tough situations where things may not be going well in a building.
- Tell us about a great experience you have had in this role.
A great experience I have had in this role is meeting a some of the clients I have worked with at different events. It is awesome to put a face with some of the voices I have worked with the past couple of years.
- Tell us about your favorite food and something you love doing.
My favorite food is anything that has carbs in it! I am a sucker for pizza and pasta. I love to try new breweries and travel around the world. On the weekends I am always with friends or family. I love to run around and stay busy.
Thanks, Cassie, for everything you do to make LeaderStat great!
