We are honored to work with an incredible group of individuals at LeaderStat and Angie Brown is no exception. Angie recently sat down with us and answered some questions about her role at LeaderStat.
1. How long have you been with LeaderStat and what was your first position?
I celebrated my 6-year anniversary on Monday, September 30.
2. What is your position now and what are your primary responsibilities?
I am the Business Office Coordinator, and my responsibilities have evolved to be mainly managing our multiple payrolls, accounts receivable/daily receipts, creating numerous reports and assisting with collections efforts.
3. What does your typical day look like?
My typical day involves processing daily deposits, prepping for weekly payrolls and staying on top of any collections issues. This involves researching state payroll tax laws, confirming consultant assignments and pay structure as they move from various assignments, reviewing timesheets, expenses and calculating commission payments.
4. What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely love coming to work each day. I work with the most amazing people and our company culture is very positive and so supportive. I am very analytical by nature so I love what I do. I enjoy working with data, numbers and spreadsheets. I like to be challenged and solve problems and this job offers me that almost every day!
5. What do you enjoy least?
If I had to choose something, it would be collections, but that’s because I prefer spending time working on payroll and manipulating data to create meaningful reports.
6. Tell us about a great experience you have had in this role.
I was given the opportunity to earn my payroll certification last year. I hope to be able to take the next step and work to get the next level certification.
7. Tell us about your favorite food and something you love doing.
My favorite food is pizza (specifically, Marion’s Piazza out of Dayton, OH). I love spending time with my family, all dogs, red wine and boating at Lake Cumberland in Kentucky.
Thanks Angie, for all that you do for our team and all of our interim consultants!
