WINNING!
Being an educational resource for our professional community is a priority to us, so imagine how pleased we were to learn that we had won an award for our blogs – blogs just like the one you are reading now! The American Staffing Association (ASA) have bestowed upon LeaderStat the “Genius Award” in the digital media blog category, for firms our size.
REAL GENIUS
One judge said, “Great content! I work on newsletters for a health care HR organization and I’m bookmarking this blog for inclusion in future editions!” (We’re blushing.) Our work, along with the other winning entries, was featured in an interactive display at the ASA annual convention and expo (Oct. 16-18 in Washington, DC).We’ve been fans of ASA for a long time. They are the voice of the U.S. staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions industry, and do a great job promoting and protecting the interests of firms like ours through advocacy, research, education, and the promotion of high industry standards. According to ASA, the Genius Award entries are judged on a numeric scale by a panel of communication experts and assessed for content, originality, and effectiveness, among other measures. ASA President and CEO, Richard Wahlquist has said that “the ASA Genius Awards program honors the most innovative communications and marketing programs in the staffing and recruiting industry.”
TEAM EFFORT
LeaderStat regularly publishes knowledge-based articles in industry journals, and provides educational and resource content via blogs and other formats on our website. Our entire team provides their expertise with the goal of making these offerings go-to resources for the healthcare industry. Our staff have offered their knowledge to recruiting and healthcare topics such as career advancement, consulting, use of interim consultants and executives, marketing, onboarding, quality assurance, c-level recruiting, reimbursement rates, among others. Some of our staff favorites include blogs about interview tips, the benefits of interim executives, and how to prepare for state and federal surveys. Haven’t had a chance to read those? What are you waiting for?
IT’S NICE TO BE NOTICED
We are passionate about what we do, and we could go on and on about every topic we tackle. But we know your time is limited. Blogs provide a medium to quickly and concisely impart important information, provide some links for further reading, and (hopefully) entertain the reader. They are tricky things to get just right with a balance of content and mirth. We are flattered and grateful that our efforts have been recognized in this fashion, and especially gratified that readers have found our blogs useful and educational.
Many thanks to the ASA for this award, and to our readers for helping us reach our goal of being a trusted resource for our community and our industry.
