Tesa Brown, DHA, MHA, RN-BC, LNHA, IPCO has over 26 years working in healthcare as a registered nurse and licensed nursing home administrator. Tesa has worked across the continuum of care including skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living. Throughout her career she has achieved and maintained Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs, infection control and prevention, CMS 5-star ratings, and national quality awards. Tesa serves as a licensed nursing home administrator preceptor to train future administrators entering the field of long-term care. She has a true passion for sharing her knowledge with others to positively impact the future of healthcare through education and training. Tesa has a Doctor of Health Administration degree from the University of Phoenix where she researched methods to decrease hospital readmission rates from skilled nursing facilities to maximize fiscal resources and achieve overall financial stability. She uses her expertise to bridge the gap between clinical needs, fiscal responsibility, and maximizing reimbursement opportunities.
